Equine Organizations

SMS is based in Lexington, Kentucky, just minutes from world-renowned equine medical facilities, the Kentucky Horse Park, and the University of Kentucky Gluck Equine Research Center. Widely considered “the horse capital of the world”, Lexington was recently selected to host the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games. The Games, held every four years, serve as the world championship competition for eight equestrian sports: show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, reining, vaulting, endurance and para-equestrian.

Lexington is home to a variety of equine professionals with expertise in organizational management, equine medical practice, equine sports and recreation activities, and the development of products and services for equine practitioners and enthusiasts.
